”I regret ever working with Sway, Eazzy And Others” – Ambolley
The famous award winning highlife artist, singer and song writer has expressed his distastefulness about how he wished he never worked with some Ghanaian musicians.
According to the legendary music star, acts like Ghanaian-UK based musician Sway, Eazzy and Tic Tac just to mention a few are among the musicians he wished to have never worked with.
He disclosed how these acts needs to respect the act of music and as a matter of fact need to spend quality time in-order to get a classical master piece.
”I regretted working with Tic Tac and Sway because when we entered the studio they wanted to do everything in one day. Personally i don’t like it that way because we doing something for people to put their hands in their pockets and buy so we should give them something their money is worth”.
”Again they should respect. After recording with these acts i expected them to call me to listen to the final product but never did they. I only heard the song being on air which is a sign of disrespect. It made me angry” he fumed
Gyedu Blay Ambolley applauded award winning Ghanaian highlife musician, Bisa Kdei for holding the highlife genre musician flag high.
Ambolley in this year has been awarded by the city of Philadelphia and Ghana Embassy in Washington DC.
